Harry stalked away from me, walking down the street roughly bumping into another person. The same person looked at him angrily before shaking his head and continued on walking. I chased after him, his frustration rubbing off me. I threw an apologetic expression to those I passed, who looked back at me and Harry with bewildered looks on their faces.

My cheeks burned from embarrassment, and the blood boiled in my veins from Harry's stubbornness.

"Hey!" I shouted after him. "Harry wait!" He glanced back at me briefly before turning his focus to the front. I narrowed my eyes and shook my head at the nerve of him.

Eventually we reached up to an empty alleyway. Something was telling me to back off, but I was too headstrong to listen to the invisible force. I became really confused when I saw a large brick wall making this path a dead end, but Harry continued forward as if it was nothing so I continued towards him anyway too.

"Isabella, just go home," he shouted over his shoulder.

I ran up to him, grabbing his forearm to face me. But suddenly, I let out a shriek as I felt like I was being squeezed through a tight tube. I squeezed my eyes shut in hopes that this sickening sensation will stop. It seems like my wish was heard because I felt... normal again but not without feeling nauseous. I gripped on to whatever my arms had its held on like my life depended on it. I was afraid to even open my eyes.

"Isabella, what the bloody hell do think you are doing?" Harry demanded, causing me to wrench my eyes open when he gripped on my shoulders to pull me away. Dots clouded my vision and the contents in my stomach boiled uncomfortably.

Ignoring his anger, I forced my eyes closed, burying my head into his chest to keep this overwhelming sickness at bay.

I don't know how long since we've been standing like this, but my back was warm by the slow embrace of Harry's arms. "It's all right, Isabella. You're fine," his voice returned to the soft and understanding tone that I was used to and missed. He rubbed my back in a relaxing, circular motion as he exhaled heavily. "What am I going to do with you?" Harry muttered tiredly.

I didn't pay any mind to that comment. Instead, I allowed myself to relish this moment, noticing the nausea easing up some. I also kept on breathing in a rhythmic chant while I listened to the beat of Harry's heart.

After however lord knows how long, Harry breathed out another sigh which broke me out of my absent reverie. I lifted my head from chest and opened my eyes only to gasp from my astonishment. We're not in the alley no more. We're in another neighborhood... I think. There were houses instead of buildings and the grey sky.

When I began to pull away, Harry didn't maintain his hold on me; however, he started to say something to get my attention, but I wasn't really listening. I tried blinking a few times to see if I was imagining this, but I wasn't. We're definitely in a different place... from a blink of an eye.

I immediately put together the sensation I experienced to us being here. "How did you do that?" I asked slowly, shifting my body to him.

Harry didn't say anything at first. His beautiful emerald eyes burned into mines for a moment, but I wasn't going to back down now. "Please, let this go." Harry pleaded as he noticed I wasn't going to relent.

I shook my head, watching him carefully and patiently waiting for him to give me an answer.

"Isabella, this world is too dangerous right now. It would not be right for me to take you away from any normalcy you have." Harry argued.

"I don't care for being normal!" I cried out stubbornly. "I don't care..." I said again but softer this time. "I know it's too soon for us being together... and I don't want that, but I need you. You really brought changes to my life than anyone else had... and I can't let you go." I said, brokenly.

Harry fell silent at that. He closed his eyes as he inhaled and exhale deeply. Maybe, or hopefully, he felt the same way too. His pushed up his glasses as he brushed down his wary face. "I guess I can't argue with that." He finally relented.

"So... how did you that?" I asked again.

Harry clenched his teeth before saying, "Did what?"

I knew he was trying to play dumb, but I saw the look on his face. He had hoped I’d forgotten. "How did you make us disappear and... come here?" I clarified, not really knowing how to explain.

As he stood there, pondering whether or not to tell me, I went through a checklist.

He can't be a vampire because he has a heartbeat and he's not deathly cold.

He's not a werewolf because he's not overly hot and he really doesn't show signs of supernatural strength.

Yet, Harry seemed special. From the moment my eyes laid on him, there was something about him that radiated difference among all others.

"Not here," his words snapped me out of my thoughts. "Come with me.” Harry held out his hand encouragingly. I took it without any hesitance.

He enclosed mines into his and he began to guide me through a street that he seemed familiar with. Passing this empty-looking yard, I could have sworn when I looked back at the specific area I saw something - like a resemblance to a graveyard. I turned to question Harry about it for a second but when I looked back - it was back to what it originally looked like. Reluctantly, I decided to let it go. For now.

At last, we stopped in front of a house. It seemed practically destroyed, but he led me inside anyway. I didn't know why I didn't question his motives. Maybe it's because I welcome danger and didn't care of the consequences.

Accepting that fact, I began to observe the interior of the house. There was a daunting feeling that I couldn't shake off as we went deeper into the home. Every furniture and other various antiques was murky with a haunting aura to it. On the other hand, it also looked like it was once beautiful if I could just try to picture this room differently.

I was so captivated by this gloomy scenery, I barely noticed a tugging at my hand. "Isabella," Harry called my name. Looking at him in response, he pulled me gingerly once more. "Come... come..." I nodded my head and let him lead the way.

As we climbed up the stairs, I noticed chunks of the ceiling was sprawled across the floor. I glanced up at the ceiling where I can see where those chunks of wall material was missing. Soon, we were in a room. A nursery in fact.

Peeking at Harry shortly, he waved his arm for me to go first. So I complied, slowly though. What caught my attention the most was the crib in the center of the room. The small bedding had a pulled-back baby blue blanket and a strange looking mobile.

Soon, realization dawned upon me. Spinning around really fast, I wasn't surprised when Harry was behind me, watching me carefully. "Is this... for you?" I asked in a low tone for some unknown reason.

Harry smiled sadly at me in reply, tilting his head sideways, staring at his crib thoughtfully. Then he reached deep into his coat pockets and pulled out a long wooden stick. "Expecto patronum," he said gently while swishing the stick.

I was taken-aback by a sudden blue light glowing at the tip before shooting into the air. I quickly moved aside to see where the blue light will hit. In seconds, it stopped in mid-air - right in front of the crib... taking a form of a... male deer. I was breathlessly awed by what I was seeing. It had like a ghostly figure, but at the same time it looked lively.

Stretching out my hand to touch it, I almost expected my hand to go through it.. but it didn't. Although, I didn't seem like I was touching fur ... but happiness... physically.

I looked over my shoulder to look at Harry without moving my hand. He then grinned at me brightly as he said these four words that will change my life forever.

"I am a wizard."

Character List (Main Only): Peter Pettigrew
Pairings List: None

Peter never thought that he'd be one of those characters who ended up as the bad guy in a story like many tales he read when he was young. Of course he never believed himself to be as dashing and charismatic like Sirius, or a great role model like Remus. However, if there was one thing Peter wished he had as part of one of his characteristics, it'd be bravery like his friend, James.

And there he was sitting on the other side of the seat before him. Well, it was not exactly James. It was actually his son, Harry, who was a spitting image of his father. Peter was in his rat form on his new master's lap, Ronald Weasley. He was pretending to be asleep while he listened to the two boys carry on a conversation. Peter would take brief sneak peeks at Harry when he felt safe enough to do so. He was dressed in muggle clothing, too large to fit his small body. The uncontrollable mop of hair, courtesy of his father, including those round circular glasses. Then there was that famous lightning bolt scar etched on his forehead as Harry revealed it to Ronald with a proud but reserved smile crossing his lips. The mark did not matter to Peter though. No it didn't. It was those eyes; richly emerald just like his mother, Lily.

Oh Lily! The memories of her made him shut his eyes in shame. She was the most extraordinary woman he ever met in his whole life time. There was no one else like her. He believed he will never meet another woman like Lily Evans. Peter had to admit, he had a big crush on her when they were students. It wasn't just Lily's beauty that attracted him; it was her intelligence, talent and how she had so much love and compassion that it was enough to be shared with the entire world. What was there not to love about her? He knew for sure that Moony and Padfoot had also really liked Lily, plus Snape who she used to hang out with in the first place. Even though Peter wasn't noticeably smart, didn't mean he was completely foolish either. On the other hand, for whatever reasons why the other Marauders didn't try to get with Lily was unknown to Peter. Nonetheless, Lily belonged to James from the moment Prongs set eyes on her. That's mostly likely, now that Peter thought of it, the reason why Sirius nor Remus haven't made their move. Peter wondered did his other friends believed they weren't in her league like, he, Peter, believed himself to be. In the beginning, Peter, Sirius, and Remus assumed that James wouldn't have gotten with Lily either since the two kept going at it with each other during their school years. In the end, they were proved wrong when James and Lily love for each other shown through, getting married young and having a baby boy. Now those who haven't met her will never get that chance to get to, especially her own child.

Opening his eyes once more, a girl had joined the compartment. She had bushy brown hair and she was already in her school robes. "I'm Hermione Granger." The girl finally told the boys her name. Hermione had fixed Harry's glasses with the repairing spell and told them to get dressed since they'll be arriving at Hogwarts any moment soon.

When the Granger girl left, Peter started to reflect on what he thought of her. She knew a spell - possibly more - like Lily did before school even started. It was to be expected that Harry would be drawn to those who were just like his parents. Granger had that tone where she was ready to correct you at any moment like Harry's mother. Peter wondered if she was a muggleborn too which would bring Harry closer to his mother in some way. Living with the Weasleys, Peter knew just how loyally close the family are. Percy, his first owner before Ronald, was the one who needed to be watched closely. He has met and seen men like him who's ambitions take things too far. Ronald too had a lot of pride - which James had as well- along with insecurities, which was not a great mixture for a boy like him. It could stir him in any direction if his master wasn't too careful.

Eventually, the train came to a stop, the boys were already in their uniform, and the next thing Peter knew was that he was in his master's hand being carried out of the compartment.

Six years slipped through Peter's hands like sand in an hourglass. One moment he was hiding from a monster that was unleashed in the castle after a year of seeing Harry for the first time again on the Hogwarts Express. Then a year later, Peter was running away from that beastly cat of Granger's, and his best friends, Remus and Sirius. Remus was filling in as the Defense the Dark Arts teacher, and Sirius escaping from Azkaban after twelve years of false imprisonment. Peter was sure to be a dead man when Moony and Padfoot had him cornered in the Shrieking Shack.

Fortunately for him, Harry stepped in on time. What Peter believed to be forgiveness, it was actually mercy. Harry only wanted to protect Sirius and Remus from getting blood on their hands for real this time. The boy proposed that they would take him to the Dementors instead. Harry was staring down at Peter coldly, and the said man couldn't help but think of the nightmares he would have at times - the way how James and Lily looked at him as if they knew of his treachery.

Once more another year had passed, but this time he was caught by his true master, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. His master made sure he suffered his wrath and that it'd be a unforgettable punishment.

Two years later after Peter's lucky escape from the hands of his friends and the kids and almost into the hands of the Ministry, he learned of Sirius' death by Bellatrix coming back boasting about how she killed him.

"Got him righ' where I wan' him. Flew righ' into the veil." Bellatrix made a motion with her hand, trying to give a visual of how it went down in the Department of Mysteries. Her eyes were mad with glee and her smile was wide across her face. The Death Eaters were listening to her, intrigued by her story-voice. "It's less than what that disgusting scum deserved. Wish I had more time to toy wit' 'im."

While most of them cheered on, Peter only stood in his little dark corner in a daze as he envisioned her words. Padfoot was gone? He could hardly breathe let alone accept the fact.

"Wait!" Bella shouted, quieting everyone in the room. "I haven't even told you the bes' part." Bella held out, watching those who were leaning in closer to hear what she had to say. "The boy used the Cruciatus curse on me!"

Peter's eyes widened at that statement whilst others had gasped and exchanged fervent whispers. Few even had expressed their disbelief harshly.

Bellatrix merely threatened them before continuing on. "You should have seen it!" The said woman hissed. "The anger he displayed back there... it wasn't pure, for the curse didn't last long - but it was there. He just needed to be pushed further."

At this point, Peter had stopped paying attention to that lunatic of a woman and allowed himself to be lost in his musings, since no one ever really payed him any mind. He wasn't considered to be of any importance now as he did when he was a child.

Two good friends gone and Harry performing one of the forbidden curses... It was too much for Peter to handle, for silent tears slipped down his puffy cheeks.

Two more years later to the present. The said boy, who seemed to be growing into a man, was glaring at him now behind bars in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor. Harry's hands were gripping the grate tightly where his skin stretched and his veins and tendons were showing.

Observing Harry's tattered appearance, Peter could say the boy has been through hell and back. His hair was just as wild as before. There were numerous cuts on his face and whatever skin that was uncovered. It meant that the boy put up one hell-of-a fight too.

"Why did you do it?" Peter asked without thought. Not only did that surprised himself but Harry too - at least for a brief second.

"Do what?" Harry questioned, his voice was deep and manly, much contrasted to the boyish tone that Peter was used to hearing in the early days when he was just known as Ronald's rat.

"Curse Bella..." Peter clarified though faintly.

Harry seemed at lost at what to say for a moment, only staring back at him with such hardness that it could break Peter with his solid-rock glare. "It was to avenge my godfather, Sirius. Remember him don't you?" Harry spat out with such venom that Peter flinched at his cruel words. "But trust me when I say, I regret it with every waking moment and till the day I die." It sounded like, "until You-Know-Who kills me," was more like it - underlying his sentence. "Especially knowing that it won't bring him back," he whispered the last part.

How the boy could just stand there so calmly, aside from the fury that was clearly expressing through his facial features, knowing that there was a dark wizard who wanted his head - that amazed Peter.

"Tell me, why did you do it?" Harry demanded. His voice was more than scornful. Yes. It was punishing and accusing and it hit Peter deep in his soul.

"Did what?" Peter couldn't help but ask, despite that he may know what Harry was asking of him.

"Why did you betray my parents - and don't you dare say it was because of Voldemort!" Harry shouted, his head was pushed against the small space of the metal bars; the beads of sweat was dripping down his red-colored forehead and his neck.

Peter was only able to flinch in response, his vocal cords failing him at his time of need.

"How do you live with yourself?" Harry asked in a low voice this time, but the harshness was still there. "Knowing the pain... and destruction you caused.... How?"

Peter was left speechless twice in a row. He had no answer to Harry's accusing questions. The only thing he could show was honest guilt. It wasn't enough for Harry, for the boy walked away from the grate and returned to his imprisoned friends.

Peter was not a man of only good or evil. He was a man of survival. He had to do what he have to do in order to stay alive. Even if Peter died with the haunting essence of James and Lily burned into his conscious.

Type of Fanfiction (Book/Movie/Show etc): Harry Potter
Character List (Main Only): Ronald Weasley
Pairings List: Ron & Hermione

Ron never felt so far away… He left… He couldn’t believe he left his two best friends who needed him, but he didn’t know how to get back. He didn‘t know the exactly where they were located.

Hermione’s excuse for his behavior was because of the necklace, but he dismissed her. Ron said hurtful words to Harry and fought him. He pushed passed Hermione and ignored her hold. Ron forced her to make a decision to either stay with Harry or go with him, but she decided to stay with Harry, and that struck a hole into his heart as it brought her to tears. Ron removed the horcrux, and he remembered as he left, he heard Hermione’s distant cry and plead for him.

However, the minute he disappeared on the spot, his head felt cleared. He was able to think straight, but when he did, instant memories of the confrontation made him felt instantly ashamed.

It was something that Harry said - something about that’s how he, Ron, was feeling all the things Ron shouted in the tent that time ever since they started off on their journey. Now that Ron thought about it, if the necklace did anything, it definitely fed off of his emotions.

Soon afterwards, Ron ran into the Snatchers, but luckily he managed to escape by aliasing himself as Stan Shunpike. Then, when he apparated numerous times to find his best friends but couldn’t find them, he returned to Shell Cottage with his older brother Bill and his new founded wife, Fleur.

At night, he would lay awake still fully dressed, wondering if his best mates were all right. Ron couldn’t ignore the guilt of his jealousy over Harry stand in the way of what was truly important and their seven year friendship. The possibility that Harry and Hermione might be in danger, and he wasn’t there to save them also weighed heavily on his conscious.

Hermione… oh there was so many things that were left unsaid. Collection of memories of her raced through his head. When Ron saw her in that lovely dress that wedding night, all he could think was that she was extraordinarily beautiful and she glowed like a shining star.

Hermione was just as gorgeous as she did in their fourth year at Hogwarts. He really wanted to ask her to the ball, but he didn’t have the nerves about him to carry it out. Ron was afraid she’d say no and probably would find it amusing that someone like him could possibly have someone like her.

In their sixth year too, at Professor Slughorn’s party, he immediately assumed she wanted to go out with McLaggen. Well, why wouldn’t she? Hermione deserved someone in her league. Heck, despite his fear of losing her to Harry, he wouldn’t blame her if she did decide to go with their friend instead of him. Of course, his blood still boiled at that thought.

Ron was the blame for that though; all he really ever did was made her cry, which probably might be his last memory of her if they never see each other again.

Hermione was smart, wonderful, headstrong… There were so many things to sum up the girl of his dreams, but overall, he knew he had very strong feelings for her. He’d do anything for Hermione and anything to erase the pain he caused her.

At the moment, Ron finally had an epiphany. He loved her. He was in love with her all along.

“Ron…” He jolted up on his bed, quickly looking around his room. There was no one here aside from him.

“Ron…”Ron felt something reverberating in his pocket where the put-outer that Professor Dumbledore left him. Taking out the Deluminator, he observed it for a minute. It didn’t look out of the ordinary when he studied it. Flicking the rare tool, it made a click sound a small orb of light shot out of it, coming to a stop in the middle of his room while brightening up the dark space.

As Ron watched it in bewilderment, it seemed to have been watching him back. Then, it flew suddenly straight towards his chest.

“Ron,” He knew this time it was Hermione’s voice, and oh how he missed her voice so much. He really began to feel far away. He felt that he was gone for far too long. He wanted to be beside her again at least one last time.

He gasped as he felt the heat of the orbed light inside his heart, feeling a tad bit uneasy. Although, it seemed like the orb of light was controlling his emotions, and Ron started to grow calm. The warmth of the mysterious light made him relax, and so he closed his eyes and exhaled, letting it absorb him into its embrace.
